The Challenge
Taking a traditional dojo online
Northstar Martial Arts teaches the Northstar style of Japanese Ju Jitsu under Andy Dickinson Sensei, drawing on more than 40 years of martial arts mastery. The goal was to make that teaching available to students anywhere in the world — an online academy that could take someone from white belt to black belt, with the same standard of instruction they'd get on the mats in the dojo.
Great martial arts teaching has always depended on being in the room with the master.
The Northstar Online Academy changes that. Detailed video lessons, assessments and one-on-one sessions with Andy Sensei let students train, grade and progress from anywhere, on any device.
